WILEY JOHNSON, JR. has enjoyed a distinguished legal career that has spanned nearly 25 years and brings to the firm extraordinary expertise in the area of contract negotiations and real estate.

 

Career Highlights

Wiley has handled all legal aspects of complex business and real estate acquisitions (purchase and long term leases), development, dispositions, financing, management agreements and partnerships. He headed legal teams responsible for the formation and launching of several major hotel chains, including Hampton Inns and the acquisition of the Granada Royale hotel chain which merged with and comprised the core of Embassy Suites. He served as Managing Attorney for Federal Express Corporation Legal Department. Wiley has negotiated and documented millions of dollars of complex real estate and real estate management transactions which included build-to-suit leases, ground leases and airport facility leases. Wiley has also been the architect of countless, sophisticated financial structures associated with corporate business transactions. 

Wiley is an honors graduate of Yale University and obtained his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School where he was Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
