JANELLE R. ESKRIDGE is a senior partner in the firm and concentrates in the area of contracts, entertainment and business transactions.

Janelle has successfully represented numerous entertainment clients in business and contract matters and has offered counsel and advice on various aspects of the entertainment industry, including, recording agreements, copyright matters, royalty agreements and music contract negotiations. She writes an informational column which provides legal advice and tips to artists in the gospel and entertainment industry. In addition to her current position, she serves as General Counsel for GCS Records, Inc.

Prior to joining the firm, Janelle served as Senior Attorney for Federal Express Corporation Legal Department where she negotiated multi-million dollar contracts with various suppliers of goods and services, including Walt Disney and Kinko’s. Janelle also negotiated and documented millions of dollars of real estate transactions and countless construction agreements for various facilities around the country. During her tenure at Westinghouse Corporation, she negotiated contracts with major government agencies and coordinated and negotiated teaming agreements with other major corporations for government contracts.

Janelle is an honors graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette and obtained her law degree from Tulane University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the states of Tennessee, Louisiana, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, NAWBO, a member of the Gospel Music Association and the Gospel Music Workshop of America.
